As I build this site, I would like to share with you my vision of what drives me to write the articles I write, to structure the site in a way that promotes growth and trust throughout the community and to better educate the consumer so that what is misunderstood or perceptions that have a negative impact, this will be a version of truth that comes from nothing to gain.
I am not a vendor but I do interact with several vendors to ensure that the site includes all perspectives. I bounce my ideas off of some of the vets in the industry and I speak with the curious that are looking for a better way to manage their body and minds.
I started out a few years back working with a startup on the cannabis side of the natural medicine industry. At the time I was struggling with not sleeping, depression, pain from Fibromyalgia and a life long struggle with kidney issues. In that time I learned how the body is linked with the mind and how we care for it will solve the majority our ailments.
Many have ask me to join in the industry but for multiple reason I found that it wasn’t the niche I was looking to put my time and passion into and then I was introduced to Kratom.
Kratom was a game changer for me in so many ways. My daily pains were finally manageable, my moods were more level and I was able to take on challenges that haunted me from my shortcomings. I woke up one day and I knew that I wanted the world to feel as good as I did. Discovering more natural means of dealing with cleaning out my body, maintaining my mind and leaving the pills that I thought I couldn’t live without behind.
I’m not saying Kratom alone is the solution for everyone, that is for one’s self to determine. When I first started trying different Kratom companies and reading all the warnings about Kratom I was a bit nervous. I thought will I get addicted to this, will it do more harm to my body, is it really like an opioid and how do I know what to buy and who to buy from.
As with anything there are risks and there is an educational component especially working with the phyto families. I didn’t want someone to have to learn the hard way or not have someone to ask the questions that are important when you are putting something new into your body.
For the people that I have interacted with on forums, doctors, scientists or through introduction, they will tell you that I ask a LOT of questions. I want to know everything . The good, the bad and the ugly.
Little Leafs United is built on the main premise of making sure that you have all the facts whether good or bad about taking a more natural road with supplements and I want to make clear that in no way do I discount western medicine. I believe in a holistic approach to health care.
As you know our genetic makeup is unique. What might work for me might not for another person. But having the facts will allow everyone to make a logical judgement towards what is right for them.
Kratom is a sensitive product that needs to be understood fully, I have heard the bad experiences and I have heard the life changing ones. What I noticed from those that have had a bad experience is that they did not have the right or full information to experience Kratom in a positive way.
My hope is that you find this website educational, that you can meet some experts that will help you guide you toward solutions that will work for your body and the most important thing is that you buy from a good source because as Kratom itself is amazing but there are people out there that look at Kratom for the money they can make and miss the point that it’s suppose to help the people they are selling to.
Equally important to education is that the Kratom market, the people that you buy from should have standards that keep you safe which inadvertently keeps Kratom from being labeled in a negative way. I’m a huge advocate to keep the Kratom community going and to debunk non-factual information. Natural medicine comes under great scrutiny when there aren’t standards, ethics and on going education. There are so many lives that have changed due to Kratom and the idea of that ever being taken away from saving peoples lives seems like a waste of what mother nature has provided us.
