Kratom Freeze: Red Bubble Kratom Tea Technique
Freezing Kratom and buying in bulk is something that every serious Kratom enthusiast often does. With the ongoing uncertainty of Kratom’s legality, sanctions imposed on transport of bulk Kratom power, shipment delays and the increased seizures by law enforcement it only makes sense to think ahead and be prepared by stashing some away for a rainy day.
One common method frequently used by Kratom enthusiasts is Red Bubble Kratom tea. This is a freezing method improves the potency of your batch, and allows for long term storage.
Over the last few years, a handful of states and municipalities have passed legislation banning or otherwise restricting the sale or possession of Kratom and its alkaloids—mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine. This past summer gave some vendors and farms a sigh of relief when the Indonesian Ministry agreed Kratom was a necessary industry to maintain and study more in-depth as well as efforts to create a patent on some properties created from Kratom.
The following post will teach you how to create your very own Red Bubble and to preserve your Kratom for the good of tomorrow.
On platforms like Reddit you will surely hear about or see images of blocks of ice with a reddish-brown in it’s center, this is due to the chemical process which occurs upon freezing. The photos on this post are kindly provided by Cactus Jack Botanicals in Texas. They have some amazing fresh tea and wonderful prices.
TECHNIQUE:
The method is simple enough even for a newbie to pull off. You simply mix your Kratom powder with a bit of water at the bottom plastic container and store it in your freezer. By freezing Kratom, the molecules in the water cause the cell walls of the leaf to break and release the indolent alkaloids responsible for the compound’s effects. In simple terms, Kratom is reduced to it’s molecular form unlike plain leaf, Red Bubble Kratom releases all of its molecules and no hidden alkaloids end up within the cell walls so when ingested all molecules are fully digested once they are consumed. I must note that this technique was created by it’s users and has not been verified by the scientific community. I must also forewarn you that if you thought plain leaf was bitter then fasten your seat belt because this method enhances that bitter taste. So I would definitely suggest adding a little juice or soda (brush your teeth afterwards) to the mix, personally I use Vanilla Boost as a chaser.
For the sake of clarity, I will explain this by way of analogy. Imagine if you break a glass and accidentally step on some glass shards. The shards get lodged beneath the skin, now most people will try to remove the pieces with a tweezers but for those microscopic pieces the human body has an amazing way of expelling foreign objects and over time those microscopic pieces will come to the surface and come out on their own. Just as the human body expels these foreign objects, ice forcibly removes the impurities from Kratom and yields a base that is less murky than the water surrounding it. This is where this method gets it’s name, a Red Bubble will manifest in the center of your container. As the container continues to freeze the water dissipates leaving behind a wide surface area of alkaloid-rich matter, a unalloyed and rudimentary like Kratom extract.

The shelf life of Kratom is relative to how it’s stored and where it’s stored. If your Kratom seems to have lost it’s taste and nutty aroma then you know it has gone stale but fear not even if your Kratom is stale and less effective it is in no way toxic, all it did was loose it’s luster.
Some mitigating factors that contribute to any plant herb are light exposure, temperature, air quality and environmental elements can result in alkaloid deterioration once it has been shipped and unwrapped. So creating a Red Bubble and storing it in your freezer is one of the best methods for long-term Kratom storage as well as it produces a far superior product. Recommended storage time once packaging is opened is no more than 8-12 month at optimal temps.
QUICK TIP
Even if you are not bulk batch storing using the Red Bubble method you can set up individual dosages in ice cube trays and drop it in a nice hot cup of tea water to start your day off. To increase it’s effects put a few drops of lemon juice in each cube tray before freezing.
